Milkshakes
Now, this is no lie: we are known by our corporate suppliers to be ONE OF THE BIGGEST SELLER OF MILKSHAKES IN DUTCHESS COUNTY, and one of the largest sellers in all the Hudson Valley! (Now, we're not too proud of ourselves, are we?) And since we've taken the helm of Joe's Dairy Bar back in 2002, we have steadily increased the number of milkshakes sold every single year, without exception! If you haven't had one, you just kind of have to so you can understand what all the fuss is about.
You should know that we only sell our milkshakes in one size (and it's typically bigger than our competition, at a better price): 24 ounces. Wow! PLUS, there's no pre-fabricated milkshake machines at our Dairy Bar! Every milkshake is handmade!
Being that we're such a big seller of milkshakes, it shouldn't surprise you to learn that we have so many flavors: Banana, Black and White, Blueberry, Cherry, Chocolate, Coffee, Peanut Butter, Pineapple, Raspberry, Root Beer, Strawberry, and good old Vanilla.
Slush Puppies
You know, the Slush Puppie is a fun frozen beverage that attracts kids of all ages, and has been a national favorite since 1970.
We have a genuine Slush Puppie machine at our premises, and utilize brand-name Slush Puppie product to blend up a batch of crisp, icy cold perfection in the following flavors: Bubblegum, Cherry, Grape, Lemon/Lime, Raspberry, Strawberry and Watermelon.
Other Specialty Drinks
Now, what kind of ice cream joint would we be if we didn't have Root Beer Floats? Or Malted Milk Shakes (made with genuine Soda Fountain Malt--see Links)? You should try an Ice Cream Soda (made with vanilla or chocolate syrup, seltzer, soda, and a dollop of ice cream sitting side saddle on the cup). Or, if you really want to go old school, try an Egg Cream (which doesn't involve eggs--oddly--but does include vanilla or chocolate syrup, milk and seltzer...oh, and NO ice cream here). Note: We pride ourselves in using Fox's U-Bet syrup in our specialty shakes/drinks.
And, at the end of the day, you can always enjoy our standards: Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, A&W Root Beer, Sierra Mist, Lipton Ice Tea, Lemonade (HOMEMADE), Bottled Water, Milk and Chocolate Milk.
